Careful cleansing is essential to keep your skin clean and beautiful. Especially when wearing a mask for long periods of time, sweat, sebum, and mask fibers can easily accumulate dirt. However, you may find it bothersome to wash your face carefully. Therefore, we developed the ‘fine feel’ facial cleansing brush to make washing your face an enjoyable and healing experience.

In order to achieve a smooth feel, the ‘fine feel’ brush is manufactured without cutting the tips of the bristles, thus utilizing the natural tips of the bristles. This technique is used for the Kumano-fude, a traditional craft of Kumano Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, and especially in recent years, Kumano cosmetic brushes are famous worldwide. The soft touch turns washing your face into a healing experience.

The fine feel brush uses over 100,000 of 0.1mm ultrafine fiber. It is said that human pores are 0.2~0.3mm, and the finer fibers scrub dirt out of pores. The facial cleansing brush is large enough to easily wash a large area, and a mini brush is recommended for the nose and around the ears.

For gel-type face wash, use the brush to create a lather in the palm of your hand before applying to the face. For solid soaps, stroke the soap directly with the brush in a circular motion to create a lather. For foam-type cleansers, apply the face wash directly to the brush and wash your face gently in a circular motion. After use, rinse with water and dry on a special stand to keep it clean. You can also use a hair dryer.

The handle of the brush is made of thinned cypress wood. Thinning is a common way to create space for new trees to grow and keep forests healthy. But in some cases, thinned wood that is not used is left in the mountains, resulting in landslides. In other words, using the right amount of thinned wood can help protect forests and mountains. The sourced wood is then processed in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is known to have a history of over 300 years of furniture manufacturing.

The packaging is made from recycled paper made from origami cranes dedicated to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. By using this recycled paper, donations can be made to help maintain the park.
