About the product
TSUNAGU is a multifunctional peg made of stainless steel that provides firm support and solves the problem of pegs being "difficult to carry several pegs of different lengths" with the new concept of "breaking them up and connecting them".
The length of pegs depends on the ground they are inserted into, the weather and other environmental factors, so it is necessary to prepare different lengths. A minimum of 6 x 3 different lengths of 18 sturdy forged pegs are required, and at 180 g/peg, the pegs actually weigh more than 3 kg.
With TSUNAGU, one peg can be used in three different lengths, eliminating the need for separate pegs of different lengths and making luggage much lighter.
The TSUNAGU is designed to be an all-around peg that can be used in a variety of environments and is a multi-tool that can be used in a variety of camping situations, making it a must-have for the next generation of campers. [High-cost-performance parts replacement system]
Until now, pegs have been thrown away when bent or when the part to be hammered is damaged. The TSUNAGU can be replaced only with worn parts by dividing it into three parts, and the pegs can be restored to their original state. The environmentally friendly design will surely increase the sense of attachment to the product.
The TSUNAGU is also made of strong stainless steel, which makes it a sturdy peg that does not bend easily and can be hammered into the ground without concern, even on hard ground. The rust-resistant stainless steel material is ideal for outdoor use in changing weather conditions. The quality remains unchanged even in the rain or on wet ground.
TSUNAGU changes the conventional wisdom that pegs are disposable. [Assembly is easy for everyone]
Assemble the three parts into one, matching the screw parts. Turn each screw by hand and tighten firmly. Hammering the screws when they are loose can cause them to break.
The head part of the peg is designed to easily catch the rope, so a tensioned rope will not come off, even if it is almost vertical. When using the peg, please ensure safety and security by tightening the rope to prevent it from coming loose due to strong winds.
For 20 cm pegs, twist the body to create a gap in the ground for easy removal. 32 cm and 44 cm pegs should be removed from the ground by lightly hitting the side of the peg with a hammer to create a gap. When pulling out the peg, apply force in a clockwise direction to prevent the screw part from coming off so that the peg can be pulled out naturally. [Multifunctional peg aimed at being a multi-tool]
The TSUNAGU is a peg that aims to be a multi-tool for camping and outdoor use, and by replacing the head with optional parts, it can be transformed into a multi-tool that is very useful in camping.
A lantern stand can be completed by inserting a ready-made hook (sold separately) between the head and shaft. The ability to split the product allows various possibilities to utilise ready-made products. Various optional parts, such as a head with hooks, will be developed on request.

The stainless steel used in this product may have minute scratches at the material stage. Although we carefully treat the surface, it is not possible to remove all scratches, so we will ship the product as a good quality product if the scratches are of a degree that does not cause problems in use. Q: Doesn't splitting weaken the strength of the product?
A: The strength of stainless steel itself is determined by the material and does not change when it is split. The threaded part may bend if strong force is concentrated only on the joints. Q: Is it safe to use the pegs in the same way as other pegs?
A: Basically, no problem. When assembling the peg, ensure the threaded part is firmly tightened. Using a hammer with a loosely tightened threaded part can cause the screw to break. Q: Where is the product manufactured?
A: The product is designed in Japan and manufactured in China. Originally, prototypes were manufactured at a domestic factory in Japan, and when the same design was requested to a Chinese factory, prototypes equivalent to those manufactured in Japan were produced. For mass production, we have a tie-up with a factory in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, which is famous for its craftsmanship, to carry out quality checks on products sent from China to Japan. A quality check system is in place whereby any products that do not meet our standards are removed before being delivered to our customers.
