The main feature of the dawn jacket is its 24 pockets, which can hold a PC, tablet device, tumbler, and even SLR camera. Eight of these pockets have built-in loops for attaching key chains. You can see how many items can fit in the jacket by looking at the images on this page. The functionality was also praised on a YouTube show where we appeared with the prototype. Of course, a down jacket with everything in its pockets is not light, but the closer it is to the body, the lighter you feel the load, so wearing it makes you feel lighter. Also, if you do take off the down, you can keep your hands free as it has a belt that can be worn diagonally.The design is simple and unisex. Furthermore, for safety in the dark, it is equipped with a reflector made by 3M Company on the back. It can be stowed away when not in use, keeping it looking smart.
The fabric is a waterproof and breathable material made in Japan. The fabric has a water pressure resistance of 20,000 mm, which is said to "withstand storms" (this figure is based on the fabric alone, not after sewing). Yet it is soft, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. On the other hand, it also has moisture permeability of 10,000g/m2/24h, which makes it difficult to get stuffy.
By opening the underarm ventilation, you can stay comfortable even when it suddenly gets hot, such as when you are riding a train or a bicycle.
The down is luxuriously filled with approximately 200g (M size: approximately 211g, 0.46 lb) of 800 fill-power high-grade down with excellent heat retention properties from ALLIED FEATHER & DOWN, a world-class premium down supplier that is actively involved in environmental protection and animal welfare.
