[Mess tin is convenient, but the biggest problem is that food sticks easily.]
Under the supervision of Nobuaki Ihara, a qualified camping instructor, the "ThiOuThe LIFE Non-Stick Mess Tin" was created to solve the major problem with mess tins, which is the "tendency to get burnt".

The major problem with normal aluminium mess tins is that they burn easily and are difficult to wash and care for after cooking. A camp instructor, who interacts with a lot of campers, asked if it would be easier to clean up the messy mess and make camping more fun if it was non-stick. This was the basis for the development of the "Non-stick Mess Tin".

The ThiOuThe LIFE Non-stick Mess Tin has a non-stick finish (fluorine resin coating) on the inside of the mess tin (lid and body), which makes it overwhelmingly resistant to burning and easy to clean. The non-stick finish is a fluorine resin coating baked onto the surface of the mess tin and is also used for frying pans and other household items.

The non-stick treatment is often cited as a disadvantage due to a reduction in durability, known as 'annealing', caused by baking, but Non-Stick Mess Tin has been designed to prevent dents and bends caused by annealing.

The non-stick properties make cleaning up, which used to be a hassle, surprisingly easy. Just a quick rinse with water is all that is needed to remove stains. Even if you can't wash it in water immediately at the campsite, you can simply wipe it with a wet towel to clean it.
Furthermore, no seasoning or deburring is required. Even beginners can use mess tin with ease.
