[Strap with plenty of Japanese craftsmanship.]
The 'R-Strap' is the result of a collaboration between two traditional techniques.
One is "Shoen Kumihimo", made at Shoen in Uji, Kyoto. After many prototypes and discussions on the cord shape for this collaboration, it was decided to adopt a weaving method called Yotsugumi, one of the circular weaving methods. It is simple, but the fuzzy look gives a sense of warmth. The look of the straps and the comfort of the strap on the shoulder are also soft. The strap fastenings are finished one by one with care and attention.
The other is kasuri dyeing. Kasuri dyeing is a dyeing technique in which many colours are added to a single thread. One thread is dyed in five different colours using the technology of Rainbow Co., Ltd., which has been producing kasuri dyeing for 60 years in Bishu, one of the world's three major woollen textile production centres.

We are particular about the material and have adopted the recyclable material polyester. The thread used to fasten the metal fittings is also made of polyester, meaning everything can be recycled except for the metal fittings. A leading sports apparel manufacturer has made headlines by setting a target to switch to 100% recyclable polyester by 2024. With the SDGs gaining more attention, we aim to create products that help realise a sustainable society.
[Fluffy and smooth to the touch]
The yarn used is a material with a fluffy and curious feel. This "fluffy" feeling is achieved by a "two-layer structure", in which thin threads are woven around a thick core thread, making the two-layer cord braided, so that it does not hurt the shoulder and is soft and comfortable to wear.
Polyester is a material often used for sportswear and is usually smooth to the touch, but by weaving a fine 150 denier yarn into the polyester, it feels soft and comfortable against the skin. The yarn is made of polyester with a fineness of 150 denier, which gives it a soft and pleasant feel against the skin.

(3) Set the smartphone in the cover, attach the metal fittings, and you're done!
(4) The strap is made of soft string, so please adjust the length by tying it or using the adjuster.

Rainbow Co. has been running a dyeing business in the textile town of Ichinomiya (Aichi Prefecture) as a company specialising in kasuri dyeing since its foundation in 1963. In an ageing dyeing industry, we have a young workforce, mainly in their 30s, but as the company has been in business for 60 years, some of our employees are over 70 years old and have reached the level of master craftsmen.
Educated by such great seniors, the young members of the team are improving their skills day by day to become the next generation of craftsmen while also developing new techniques with young ideas and making possible dyeing that could not have been done before.
There is an indescribable depth to things made with kasuri dyeing, and there are things that can only be expressed with kasuri dyeing.
