Uotake's Background

Uotake has been doing business in this location for over 80 years. Founded by a fishmonger, it became an essential part of the local community. By the third generation, it transitioned into a restaurant specializing in heartwarming home-style dishes and has been loved by many ever since. Now in its fourth generation and almost 50 years as a restaurant, Uotake continues to serve excellent seafood dishes made from freshly caught fish.

"Our dishes boast fish that come directly from fishing ports across the nation, as well as fresh fish delivered daily from Toyosu. Instead of focusing solely on flashy presentation and originality, we aim to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. We are committed to a customer-first approach, welcoming guests with sincerity and quality."

Restaurant Concept

Uotake has recently developed a new menu item called "Atemaki." Atemaki is a burgeoning trend among foodies, serving as both an appetizer and a palate-cleanser. Unlike traditional maki or nigiri sushi, Atemaki features a generous portion of seafood instead of rice.

This makes it increasingly popular among those who say, "Regular sushi fills me up with rice; I want to enjoy the fish as an appetizer while savoring my drink."

Naturally, Atemaki made by Uotake excels in flavor, presentation, and volume. It's not just an overload of fish; each roll is meticulously crafted with careful consideration for color harmony and taste balance, ensuring that you never tire of the dish.

At Uotake, we offer three types of seaweed, each with distinct aromas, flavors, and textures, allowing customers to choose according to their preference.

From each sheet of seaweed to every piece of fish, there is no compromise on quality at Uotake. This dedication to excellence is why we believe many people have come to love what we offer.
