Restaurant Experience

Ristorante “Bel Sogno” stands quietly on Seijoki Street in Nishi-Azabu.

When you step into the store, the first thing that catches your eye is the U-shaped counter kitchen.

The solid counter carved out of Italian rock is a masterpiece, and some customers may feel their spines straighten out unintentionally.

There are only 10 seats at the counter.

While the space is comfortable, the sight of the chef cooking is breathtaking.

In particular, his gaze as he finishes the pasta with a brilliant use of his hands gets so serious that he even forgets to breathe. Such a unique feeling is one of the reasons why customers love Ristorante “Bel Sogno”, which is the charm of the counter kitchen.

Cuisine

Another thing that cannot be overlooked when talking about Nakamoto chef’s cuisine is that he uses plenty of carefully selected ingredients from Miyazaki.

The chef says that he decided to use Miyazaki’s ingredients not only because it was his hometown, but also because when people think about about high quality things to use, Miyazaki truly stands out.

The warm climate of Miyazaki, where the sun shines brilliantly, may also have something in common with Italy.

This is why Miyazaki represents the chef’s nostalgia for his hometown and deep respect for Italy, where he learned to cook.

In other words, the cuisine of “Belsogno” is a combination of the rich ingredients of his hometown and the traditional dishes that have been handed down in Italy for many years.
