UNDERWATER DEMOLITION TEAM (UDT) is a special underwater bombing team, which was established in 1942 by the U.S. Navy and Army in Florida to train elite and tactical personnel for amphibious assault. The unit was established to scout landing beaches, locate obstacles and defenses, and clear them in order to land.
Later assigned to the Space Capsule and Astronaut Recovery Support Unit in the Apollo space flight program. It is also the predecessor of the United States Navy SEALs, the world's premier special forces unit of the U.S. military today.

The case and shape of the original watch are made of stainless steel with the same size as the original. The hour numerals from 1 to 12 and the dots are luminescent. The hour and minute hands are also luminescent.

Strap - Strap belt
At the beginning of WW2, two-piece leather straps were often used, but the Navy found that the leather was quickly damaged by the tides. They provided strong twill weave fabric belts with one-piece straps. Later, one-piece nylon safety straps were supplied.
Two types of strap belts are available: a cotton chino cloth belt, faithfully reproduced from the original, and a nylon belt (Nato strap), which is more functional. Both straps are one-strap (integrated upper and lower straps).

Fabric strap
This is a one-piece strap, consisting of an integrated upper and lower strap, made of strong twill weave fabric that is a reissue of the original. The belt holes are also accurately sewn in reference to the original. It has an indescribable charm. The wrist circumference is approximately 16.5 cm to 20 cm.

Nylon strap
The Nylon strap is a textile belt with a grosgrain weave made of nylon, commonly known as a NATO strap. It has been used since the Vietnam War era due to its high resistance to perspiration, even in tropical conditions, and its popularity among soldiers. The wrist circumference is about 15.5 cm to 23 cm.

Back of case
The back of the case features a deep engraving in the shape of a decagon, just like the original.
