We offer contemporary kaiseki cuisine using seasonal ingredients from the suburbs of Kanazawa. All our tableware are traditional crafts from Ishikawa Prefecture.
Our bilingual staff, certified as tour guides, will explain the details of our cuisine, preparation methods, and the significance of the tableware in English for travelers from Western countries.

Experience the charm of traditional crafts through dining! There's no other place that pays so much attention to the tableware.
More than 100 processes are required to complete a single Wajima-nuri vessel.
By repeating the process of applying and polishing lacquer over and over again, Wajima-nuri vessels give you a feeling when you hold them in your hands that you cannot feel in any other vessels.
Although you cannot put your mouth on Wajima-nuri vessels in museums and galleries, you will discover the charm of the vessels themselves when you put your mouth on a sake-filled cup or enjoy a meal with it.
We serve ingredients and spirits carefully handpicked by the chef. Ishikawa is uniquely blessed with natural resources where the sea, mountains, and fields offer an array of ingredients throughout the seasons.
With over 100 types of seafood available due to the confluence of warm and cold currents in the Sea of Japan, the chef personally selects fresh fish from fixed nets at Kanazawa Port.
We also use delicious vegetables grown without fertilizers and pesticides, which the chef personally harvests.
Restaurant Experience
Our counter tables are made using “fuki-urushi” (wipe lacquer technique), crafted by the project owner who is a 10th-generation Wajima-nuri artisan.

Many traditional crafts need to be held and experienced to truly appreciate its authentic texture and warmth. However, opportunities to do so are becoming increasingly rare. "If this continues, the traditional crafts and culture of Japan that we want to preserve will be lost," we at CRAFEAT thought.
Driven by the desire to offer more opportunities to touch and experience genuine artistry, we decided to open this restaurant. Visiting our restaurant contributes to the future of traditional crafts and Ishikawa!
