The aroma of the wood and the alcohol enhances the food, making it aromatic and smoky, and also makes it soft and juicy after grilling. Not only meat, but also fish, vegetables, and cheese can be cooked well because the heat is passed indirectly. This is an eco-friendly item that produces no waste after use.
Plank grilling is one of the most popular BBQ styles in the U.S. By placing food on a grilling plank that has been soaked in water in advance and then placing it on the fire, it creates a moist and flavorful taste that is a combination of steaming and smoking, which greatly enhances the deliciousness of the food. On the other hand, there is actually a traditional Japanese cooking method called "Sugi-ita-yaki. In the "Ryori Monogatari" (Tales of Cooking) of 1643, this dish appears under the name of “hegi-yaki,” and has been handed down in Japan since ancient times.
This product is an advanced grilling plank with grooves attached to the wooden board for pouring alcohol. It is possible to add a more luxurious aroma to the food, such as wood aroma x wine, to make it tasty and juicy. You have probably seen chefs at restaurants adding aroma to steaks by pouring red wine into the steaks. Inspired by such a scene, we have come up with the idea of this product to make it possible to enjoy various dishes at BBQ even more.
It is very simple to use and easy to try even for those who are trying grilling planks for the first time. First, soak the grilling plank in water for at least one hour. Next, pour your favorite liquor into the grooves of the plank. Then, place the prepared food on top of it. Finally, cover the plank with aluminum foil and let it sit on the fire for 10 to 20 minutes, and when the food is cooked, it's ready! When finished, you can use it as wooden tableware for meals as it is, and when you are done eating, you can use it as firewood for a bonfire, so it does not become garbage.
Not only do we not generate waste, but we also use domestic wood as a raw material with sustainability in mind. Cutting down trees in moderation leads to the revitalization of forests and preserves the role of forests in preventing floods after heavy rains and protecting mountains. On the other hand, if there is no use for the harvested trees, they will be left unattended, which may indirectly lead to disasters. Building a healthy forest cycle of nurturing trees, using them as resources without waste, and planting new saplings will lead to the preservation of nature and the protection of people's lives.

It is also rich in historical local resources that have been nurtured in this environment.
