It has been 80 years since its beginnings in Wakayama, an old cotton production area. At the time, the company manufactured cotton-based knit fabrics and items using hand knitting machines and sock knitting machines. Then we started dealing in acrylic products, and at its peak, acrylics accounted for 40% of all materials produced. The company was known as "Maruwa Knit when it comes to acrylics." All the machines in the factory have been converted in-house to handle acrylic products, and combined with the original modified knitting machines, the result is a textile that can never be copied.
