-Individual differences may occur in the colouring of the colour-changing patterns and luminescent material.
-Colour-changing patterns may already be coloured when the product is taken out of the box depending on the temperature.
-Colour-changing patterns are sensitive to direct sunlight, which reduces their effectiveness, so black light exposure is recommended when phosphorescing.
-Materials are subject to change due to manufacturer's reasons.

Care Precations
-Clean with a neutral kitchen cleaner and a soft material such as a sponge.
-Do not scrub the phosphorescent part of the bottom strongly.
-Do not clean with metal scrubbers or abrasive materials.
-Do not clean in a dishwasher.
-Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods of time as the dye used for the colour-changing pattern is sensitive to ultraviolet light.

This project is a collaboration between Marumo Takagi Toki, a ceramic and glass manufacturer that has been in business for over 130 years, and Gekko Kobo. Gekko Kobo is a team from Kataoka Case Manufacturing, which manufactures and sells paper containers, and has a patent in Japan for the production of phosphorescent glasses. Both are based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, which is known as a production centre for Mino ware, and we are happy if this project provides an opportunity to deliver products from Tajimi to the world.

Marumo Takagi Toki boasts extensive in-house facilities for the production of ceramics and is proud to be an expert in painting techniques. This strength was utilised to bring a 'temperature-dependent expression' to glass with colour-changing technology.
On the other hand, Gekko Kobo's phosphorescent glasses were created as part of an SDGs promotion initiative to utilise a small amount of phosphorescent material that was originally left over from the company's main business and had no use for it. We had been manufacturing phosphorescent glasses under the name 'moonlight (Gekko in Japanese) glasses', but as they only glow in the dark, we wondered if we could make them into glasses that people could enjoy more. We thought, "Why can't we make a glass that is more enjoyable?”

This collaboration has resulted in a glass that can be enjoyed twice as much at once, with the added expression of temperature changes and light on the glass. We hope you enjoy it in all sorts of situations!

We are making our best efforts to create "Glasses Featuring the Four Seasons of Japan" and are constantly improving it to make it even better. However, since each glass is handmade, it is difficult to create exactly the same glass. However, since we put our heart and soul into each glass, we believe that there is no inferiority when compared to other glasses. This time, “Glasses Featuring the Four Seasons of Japan” was created in collaboration between Marumo Takagi Toki and Kataoka Case Manufacturing - Gekko Kobo. Thanks to Makuake supporters, Marumo Takagi Toki has moved from focusing on commercial tableware to developing general tableware too, while Kataoka Case Manufacturing launched Gekko Kobo, and the technology developed through Makuake has grown to the point where it has been patented in Japan. With this collaboration, we aim to make even greater strides than before.
Our companies have also won awards at the Tajimi City Business Innovation Awards, and our products have been selected as tax return gifts and souvenirs. Tajimi City is a city of manufacturing, but surprisingly, there is no cooperation among companies, so we decided to challenge this project to combine our technologies and bring Made in GIFU, TAJIMI to the world! We have challenged this project with the aim of combining our skills.
