Yasunobu Osugi

Yasunobu Osugi was born in 1977 in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. After independently building a kiln in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, I would make containers and cay pots on the table. I recieved voices where people wanted to eat rice out of clay pots but were hard to use because it is time consuming. Therefore, I thought of the "Kamadohan" where people could eat delicious rice more easily with only solid fuel.

story

  1. Enrich your daily life with authentic kamado-cooked rice just by igniting solid fuel
  2. Excellent design handmade by Tanba potters one by one
  3. The small size of one go can be cooked at the table and can be stored compactly after use.

I want to eat delicious rice cooked in a kamado easily at home. But I don't want to adjust the heat and take the storage space.

The only thing that fulfills that desire is the authentic Kamado-cooked rice, "Kamadohan," which just ignites the solid fuel. Developed by Yasunobu Osugi, a ceramist in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture.

1. Just ignite the solid fuel without adjusting the heat!

One of the major features of "Kamadohan" is to sharpen white rice, add water, set solid fuel, and wait. There is no need for difficult heat adjustment.

Compared to metal, pottery has a greater ability to store heat, so rice cooked in a pottery kamado can be cooked very deliciously, even if it is the same rice.

With just one kamado, your daily meals will be graceful. "Kamadohan" can enrich your daily life with simple handling.

2. Handmade by Tanba potters one by one

In a place surrounded by mountains in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, a potter of a kamado kiln, Yasunobu Osugi, molds each one by hand, and performs unglazed, glaze-hanging, and main-baking processes. Stepping on, "Kamadohan" is made. You can feel the expression of the soil that remains because it is handmade.

3. Small size for one go cooking, compact storage after use

"Kamadohan" is a small size that you can put on the table and wait for it to cook. Over time, the gentle steam and the aroma of appetizing rice overflow on the table, and you can enjoy the time to wait for it to cook.

Due to its compact size, the rice left in the clay pot can be reheated in the microwave.

After use, it can be disassembled and stored compactly, so there is no need to worry about taking up storage space.

You can choose the color of "Kamadohan" from 3 colors.

off white

Jet black

Silver gray

We also accept sales as a set with a paulownia box for gifts and storage.

Kamadohan + paulownia box

In addition to cooking white rice, you can enjoy various ways such as cooked rice and bean rice using "Kamadohan". Since it is cooked with just one fuel, you can cook it all at once even if you have more than one, and you can enjoy it at a Kamameshi party.

Since it is a heat-resistant clay pot, it is also possible to lay a net on the stove, place it on it, and heat it directly to cook.

・ Because it is light, it is easy to maintain and handle, and it can be used as freshly cooked rice for each meal.

-Since it is chic and cute just by placing it, it can be used as a practical dining table interior.

・ As a gift to my grandparents, I miss the rice cooked in kamado.

・ Just prepare when you are away. Even people who don't usually cook can easily cook rice, so it's a pre-made rice.

This time, we have developed "Kamadohan", which is very easy to handle and allows you to eat delicious rice cooked in a kamado.

I am working on the production every day with the hope that the container of the quiet kiln will become one of the items to enjoy life.

Risk & Challenge

The schedule described in the text is the schedule at the time of project release. Due to the nature of support purchases, there is a risk of delivery delays. As a general rule, support purchases cannot be canceled due to delivery delays, but if it exceeds 6 months from the scheduled return delivery month, only those who wish to do so will be canceled. As each item is handmade, there are some individual differences. We strive day and night to eliminate individual differences as much as possible, but we hope that you can enjoy the individual differences that still occur as a unique texture of pottery. If we can improve the production system with the support of more people than expected, the general sales price may be lower than the planned price. If there is a change in the content described on the project page, we will share it in the activity report etc. as soon as possible. Lastly, we will do our utmost to make everyone who picks up "Kamadohan" happy and help enrich their daily lives. Thank you for your support.
